Manny Pacquiao vs. Miguel Cotto, billed as Firepower, was a welterweight boxing superfight for the World Boxing Organization (WBO) Welterweight Championship. The bout was between Manny Pacquiao of the Philippines and Miguel Cotto of Puerto Rico.



The fight was held on November 14th, 2009 at the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas, Nevada, United States. Manny Pacquiao defeated Miguel Cotto via twelfth round technical knockout (TKO), to become the first fighter in boxing history to win seven world titles in seven different weight divisions.[1][2]



The fight generated 1.25 million buys and 70 million dollars in domestic pay-per-view revenue, making it the most watched boxing event of 2009.[3]
